“ Charming cafe, with a beautiful secluded balcony towards the river with a view to San Pietro castle. They serve food the whole day, no typical Italian afternoon break in the kitchen. Interesting selection of local dishes, freshly prepared. Also pastas and pizzas are on the menu. Staff is polite, speak several languages, menu is available in English. Service is reasonably fast. Balcony is in the deep shadow probably the whole day but definitely in the early afternoon, making it a much appreciated escape from the city summer heat. ”
